Arab National Bank completed a 21-month core banking upgrade to Infosys Finacle, migrating millions of records with minimal downtime - earning our Best Digital Transformation Award.
15 July 2024, Riyadh: We're kicking off our 2024 Digital Transformation awards with Arab National Bank (ANB).
We're awarding the Best Digital Transformation to the team at ANB for completing one of the most ambitious core banking upgrades in the Saudi market. Over a 21-month programme, ANB migrated millions of customer records to Infosys Finacle version 11x - with minimal downtime.
Core banking migrations are the unglamorous backbone of digital transformation. They don't make for exciting press releases, but they determine everything that follows. Without a modern core, every digital initiative - from mobile apps to API platforms to AI - is constrained by legacy architecture. ANB has removed that constraint.
The scale of the migration - millions of records across retail, corporate, and treasury - and the fact that it was delivered with minimal disruption to customers demonstrates strong programme management and technical execution.
