Barclays Finalises 600 Million Pound Acquisition of Tesco Bank

Barclays has finalised its 600 million pound acquisition of Tesco Bank, completing one of the largest retail banking deals in the UK in recent years. The acquisition gives Barclays access to Tesco Bank's customer base and its position within the Tesco retail ecosystem.

The deal transfers Tesco Bank's credit cards, loans, savings accounts and insurance products to Barclays, along with millions of customer relationships. Barclays plans to integrate these customers into its existing retail banking platform.
