BSF Receives Best Digital Transformation Award
BSF completed its transformation from Banque Saudi Fransi to a data-driven, next-generation banking institution - earning our Best Digital Transformation Award.
12 August 2024, Riyadh: We're proud to recognise BSF (formerly Banque Saudi Fransi) with our Best Digital Transformation Award.
Digital transformation often starts with a rebrand, but it rarely goes much deeper. BSF is the exception. In June 2024, the bank completed its transition to the 'BSF' identity - not just a new logo, but a signal of its reinvention as a data-driven, next-generation banking institution.
The rebrand reflects genuine changes under the hood. BSF has invested in personalised digital experiences, shifting from a traditional product-push model to one built around customer data and behavioural insights. The new identity is designed to feel dynamic and personal, which is a notable departure for a bank with deep French banking heritage.
What we find particularly noteworthy is the speed and decisiveness of the transformation. In a sector where rebrands often take years and deliver little substance, BSF has moved quickly to align its external identity with its internal capabilities.
In the competitive Saudi banking market - where SNB, Al Rajhi, and Riyad Bank are all investing heavily in digital - BSF's transformation positions it as a credible challenger with a clear point of difference.
We congratulate BSF on this well-executed transformation.
