Chico's FAS and Synchrony Launch First Co-Brand Credit Card Programme

Chico's FAS is launching its first-ever credit card programme, partnering with Synchrony and Mastercard to roll out co-branded and private label credit cards across each of its three brands: Chico's, White House Black Market, and Soma.

The cards are fully integrated with each brand's loyalty programme - Club Chico's, WHBM Prestige, and Soma My Rewards - marking the first time any of the three brands has offered a credit card product.

Key features of the programme include:

  • 7.5% back on purchases at the card's origin brand
  • 2% back on groceries and restaurants, and 1% everywhere else Mastercard is accepted (with the co-branded card)
  • 15% off the first purchase when cardholders open and use a new credit card at the card's origin brand

The partnership gives Chico's FAS access to Synchrony's omnichannel and digital capabilities, an increasingly important consideration as specialty retailers compete for wallet share.
