China's Central Bank Gives Indications of Support, Encourages Patience

The People’s Bank of China on Friday urged patience and confidence as the world’s second-largest economy rebounds this year, reiterating its stance on monetary policy even as data flashes warning signs about activity.

“We still have ample policy room to deal with unexpected challenges and changes,” Deputy Governor Liu Guoqiang told reporters in Beijing. “We need to be patient and confident in the economy’s continued and steady growth.”
