First Abu Dhabi Bank has partnered with Intellect Design Arena to implement the eMACH.ai Lending platform, deploying AI-first technology to automate end-to-end credit processes and transform debt management operations.
The implementation integrates with over ten of FAB's internal subsystems, creating a unified lending workflow that spans credit origination, assessment, approval, disbursement, and collections. Intellect's eMACH.ai platform uses AI and machine learning to automate decision-making at each stage of the lending lifecycle.
FAB said the deployment sets new standards for digital lending operations in the UAE, replacing manual, document-heavy processes with automated workflows that reduce processing times and improve consistency. The AI capabilities enable more sophisticated credit risk assessment by analysing multiple data sources simultaneously.
The integration with existing internal systems was a critical requirement for FAB, as the bank's lending operations depend on data from core banking, customer relationship management, compliance, and other platforms. Intellect's architecture is designed to connect with heterogeneous technology environments through APIs and middleware.
Intellect Design Arena, an Indian financial technology company, has been building its presence in the Gulf banking market with its AI-first platform approach. The FAB deployment is one of the company's largest implementations in the region and demonstrates the platform's ability to handle the scale and complexity of a major international bank's lending operations.
The partnership accelerates FAB's broader digital transformation programme, which has included AI partnerships with Microsoft and other technology providers.
