Saudi AI company Mozn has unveiled next-generation fraud prevention capabilities for its FOCAL platform at LEAP 2025, introducing advanced device fingerprinting and Fraud Management as a Service for financial institutions.
The enhanced FOCAL platform uses AI and machine learning to detect and prevent sophisticated fraud attacks in real time. The new device fingerprinting capability analyses hundreds of device attributes to identify suspicious patterns, even when fraudsters use techniques designed to mask their identity. Mozn said the technology is particularly effective against account takeover attacks and synthetic identity fraud.
The Fraud Management as a Service model allows financial institutions to access Mozn's fraud detection capabilities without building and maintaining their own fraud analytics infrastructure. Banks can deploy the service as a managed solution, benefiting from continuous model updates and threat intelligence without the overhead of an in-house fraud technology team.
Mozn, based in Riyadh, has established itself as one of the leading AI companies in Saudi Arabia, with its FOCAL platform used by major financial institutions across the Gulf. The company's focus on financial crime prevention positions it at the intersection of two strategic priorities for Gulf banks: AI adoption and regulatory compliance.
The LEAP 2025 conference in Riyadh has become one of the world's largest technology events, providing a high-profile platform for Saudi AI companies like Mozn to showcase their capabilities to a global audience.
Mozn's continued investment in fraud prevention technology reflects the growing sophistication of financial crime across the Gulf and the increasing regulatory expectations for banks to deploy advanced detection capabilities.
