Solutions by Text Acquires Triple Play Pay to Unify Messaging and Payments for Consumer Lenders
Solutions by Text (SBT) has acquired Triple Play Pay (TPP), combining its compliance-first conversational commerce platform with TPP's payment orchestration technology to create a unified payment experience for consumer finance lenders.
The acquisition builds on strong payments momentum across SBT's FinText platform, with the company reporting that 75% of approved transactions now flow through Apple Pay and Google Pay where enabled, alongside a nearly 400% increase in approved TextPay transactions as lenders shift payment requests into the messaging channel.
With the deal, SBT extends its capabilities across ACH, debit, credit, and mobile wallets on a PCI-compliant gateway. The company says it can now accelerate go-live times via a PayFac program measured in days rather than weeks, while adding deeper fraud monitoring, reporting, and omni-channel APIs.
