Jeel and Mambu Join Forces to Power Saudi Arabia's Fintech Sandbox
Jeel, the innovation and technology subsidiary of Riyad Bank, has partnered with Mambu, the global cloud-native core banking platform, to strengthen the Jeel Sandbox - Saudi Arabia's pioneering fintech sandbox accelerator developed collaboratively with Fintech Saudi.
The Jeel Sandbox enables startups, financial institutions, and innovators to test, validate, and deploy digital financial solutions in a secure, scalable environment. It reduces time to market and accelerates innovation across the Kingdom's financial ecosystem.
Built on Mambu's composable banking architecture and hosted on Google Cloud Platform in compliance with SAMA's cloud regulations, the sandbox progresses from mock APIs and Wallet as a Service capabilities toward a full Banking as a Service platform.
The partnership will onboard fintechs into the sandbox, with the first pilot cohort launching later in 2025. As the platform expands, it will support advanced testing, regulatory readiness, and commercial deployment.
