KFH Bahrain Recognised as Bahrain's Best Transaction Bank 2025 by Euromoney
Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH Bahrain) has been named Bahrain's Best Transaction Bank at the Euromoney Transaction Banking Awards 2025. The award was presented at a ceremony held in London on 13 November 2025, recognising KFH Bahrain's leadership in delivering advanced transaction banking services to corporate and institutional clients.
The accolade highlights the bank's commitment to digital transformation, operational efficiency, and tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of its clients. It also reflects the success of KFH Bahrain's transformation journey following the integration with Ahli United Bank and the subsequent conversion of the combined entity into a fully Shariah-compliant institution.
Over the past year, KFH Bahrain has re-engineered its major conventional products into Shariah-compliant equivalents, ranging from murabaha-based financing to fully automated supply-chain programmes. API integration with commodity brokers now enables execution in seconds, while the bank has continued to invest in digital channels for cash management, trade finance, and payments.
Commenting on the award, Dr. Shadi Zahran, Group CEO at KFH Bahrain, said: "We are honoured to be recognised by Euromoney for our commitment to innovation, service excellence, and reliability in transaction banking. This award reflects the hard work of our teams and reinforces our strategy to combine Islamic finance principles with cutting-edge digital capabilities for the benefit of our corporate and institutional clients."
The recognition underscores KFH Bahrain's strategic precision in cash management, trade finance, and payments, and reinforces its position as a leading Islamic financial institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The bank's vision aligns with supporting Bahrain's broader financial ecosystem while strengthening its market leadership in Islamic banking and digital finance across the region.
