TBC Uzbekistan, part of London-listed TBC Bank Group, has launched its first secured lending product for small and medium-sized enterprises, adding larger-ticket financing to its digital business banking platform.

What the product offers

The loans sit within TBC Business, which the bank describes as Uzbekistan's first fully digital business banking solution. SMEs can borrow up to 12 billion Uzbek soum (about USD 1 million) against collateral, with flexible collateral terms and a grace period of up to 12 months. Working capital loans run for up to 36 months, while financing for investment products is available for up to 120 months.

Building out TBC Business

More than 30,000 SMEs have registered with the platform since it launched in December 2024. Since then TBC has added a dedicated mobile app, a fully digital payroll product and QR-code payment functionality, and doubled its maximum unsecured loan from USD 25,000 to USD 50,000.

Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, said: "As businesses grow, entrepreneurs need access to larger loans to help them scale their business and fund longer-term projects, such as expanding production or purchasing equipment and commercial real estate. This new product was built to meet exactly that demand, giving businesses access to the financing needed to reach these larger-scale goals, all while keeping the same simple, fully digital customer journey that defines our products. This ultimately enables business owners to focus on what matters most: growing their companies."
